Short-film produced by Berning Marketing advances to National ADDY Awards Competition

Berning Marketing, LLC has been named a gold winner in the 2009-2010 District Seven ADDY Awards Competition and will represent Southeast Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Georgia in the National ADDY Awards Competition. Berning’s entry will compete with more than 1,500 other national finalists during the national ADDY Awards in May.

Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation, the ADDY Awards is the largest creative competition in the country with about 55,000 local entries competing in 200 cities across the nation.

The gold award given to Berning Marketing recognizes the fundraising short-film, “Keeping the Legacy Alive,” which Berning produced on behalf of Ursuline Academy in New Orleans.

“We are tremendously proud of this honor that has been bestowed upon our agency,” said Robert Berning, president and founder, “the ADDY Awards are considered to be one of the most esteemed competitions in the advertising industry.”

Since Berning Marketing began as Robert Berning Productions, Inc. in 1975, Berning has been recognized with nearly 200 silver and gold awards from marketing and advertising competitions and organizations, including the ADDYS.

Over 1,500 national finalists will compete in the National ADDY awards during judging in May.
