N.O.H.S.C. : Branding and Collateral

New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Company experienced rapid growth and needed a fresh new branding image to match their reinvented interiors & deliciously progressive new menu items (check out the Shrimpzilla — voted Best PoBoy at the 2010 PoBoy Fest).  Berning created a vibrant, consistent identity for menus, advertisements, in-restaurant collateral along with a lively television campaign.

Jefferson Parish Economic Development Council's annual report needed a modern facelift in a handy size and shape.  Berning Marketing's solution: a smaller-than-average report with spiral binding that fit easily in a low-rate-postage envelope while clearly highlighting the Parish's annual successes and ambitious plans for the future.

Sheriff Jiff Hingle : Annual Report

Sheriff Jiff Hingle's annual report needed a no-nonsense look and a bold approach to relaying the facts, making St. Bernard Parish citizens aware of the initiatives being taken to keep them safe. Berning's team collaborated to create a beautiful report, incorporating custom photography, straightforward copy and confident type treatments.  Berning handled the whole process from first thought to final delivery.

The Feldman Institute : Print Campaign

Dr. Arnold Feldman is the best in the field of pain relief.  Accordingly, Berning re-purposed his longstanding tagline "Masking the Face of Pain" with a high-end print campaign to be placed in opera, symphony and theater programs across south Louisiana.   Using striking photography accompanied by clever one-line copy, the ads could be grasped at a glance by prospective patients as the lights went down.

A family of local hunters and gaming enthusiasts approached Berning to create a social network specifically for deer hunters to share their game with others across the country and around the world. Berning created concepts, layouts, design, and programmed the entire site to function like a Facebook for venison lovers.  If you like deer hunting, you'll love DeerPorn.com - the site has been steadily gaining users since its early 2011 launch.

Continental Motors : Print Campaign

Continental Motors sells power - for their customers, there's nothing as thrilling as sailing through the air.  Berning created a series of print ads that appeals to this sense of freedom and energy, while also speaking to a customer's bottom line.  These ads have been placed internationally in publications geared toward pilots and are the basis for a new branding campaign to be launched in 2011.

Armstrong’s Lighting : Lighting Your Life TV Spot

Armstrong's Lighting and Supply is the premier lighting source for style-conscious home owners in the Greater New Orleans area.  Berning produced a television spot that appealed to what "lights up your life" for New Orleanians - inside and outside the home.  Playing with a whimsical theme and famous local landmarks, the spot came to life and helped increase foot traffic in Armstrong's retail location.

Metro Disposal : ‘Friday Night Lights’ TV Spot

Metro Disposal is a company that truly cares about the community in which it serves and does business. Their employees are in your neighborhoods every day, so Berning set out to brand them as the public-minded people they are. This television spot starts a local youth football team and draws parallels between Metro's impeccable record of service and the team's dedication to being their best.

First Bank & Trust : Business Made Personal

First Bank and Trust partnered with Sean Payton to promote their business banking services.  Berning's team found a way to brand Payton as the CEO of the New Orleans Saints.  Payton appeared in print ads, television spots, on-hold messaging, Superdome digital signage, direct mail pieces and other marketing efforts with a unique perspective on what it means to be passionate about your business.  Berning's new tagline "If First Bank & Trust can tackle banking for the Saints, just think what they can do for you" was consistent throughout the campaign.

Continental Motors has upgraded and redesigned lines within their hand-built engine classes. Berning gave a face-lift to their existing corporate brochure to match a new ad campaign and align with a new generation of airplane engines.

This spot shows Berning’s amazing post-production capabilities, with a combination of footage shot in our green screen studio and amazing effects. We used the Hollywood image to show that players can feel like stars.

Pearl River Resort: Summertacular

Women are the majority of casino guests, and this spot shows 2 friends on a getaway to one of the nation’s largest casino resorts. We did a full 60-second spot to capture the excitement at Pearl River Resort’s many amenities.

MS Band of Choctaw Indians: Choctaw Triumph

The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians was a thriving Tribe in the years of Chief Phillip Martin’s tenure. We filmed this documentary to highlight his economic development accomplishments and to show the Tribe’s many successes.

Soaring Eagle Casino: Chris Rock Promotional

This is an example of one of our live entertainment spots for this property in Michigan. Graphics can easily be changed out based on the entertainer and the spot still upholds the casino’s lively image.

Pearl River Resort: Food and Beverage

Food and fun are the themes of this spot, with all of Pearl River Resort’s many amenities highlighted in some way. We show the resort here as an upscale destination with a variety of great options.

Destination Zero Deaths

This campaign was intended to decrease fatalities due to alcohol impaired driving and increase seatbelt use statewide whilst educating drivers of a new Louisiana state law requiring all passengers to wear seatbelts.

Blue Cross Blue Shield : Stop Child Abuse TV Spot

These public service announcements won a National Gold Addy Award from the American Advertising Federation.

East Jefferson General Hospital : Spine TV Spot

East Jefferson General Hospital has a high-touch/high-tech approach to medical practice.  This television spot was designed to portray both sides of the experience.  Using 2D Animation and a strong yet warm voiceover, the idea that science and art can blend comes to life in a :30 tribute to the EJGH Team's perspective on caring for the whole person.

Northrop Grumman : Dorothy Stratton Film

Dorothy Stratton was was the director of the SPARS, the United States Coast Guard Women's Reserve, during World War II.  Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding wanted to pay tribute to her and other women in the Coast Guard, and Berning helped by producing a short film on her life and achievements.  This film was packaged and released as a DVD.
